Ethics code

The Code of Ethics in the field of scientific journals consists of a set of rules and principles that govern the actions of the actors involved in the creation and dissemination of knowledge: researchers/authors, peer reviewers, editors of journals, and members of editorial boards, among others. As far as good practices are concerned, they serve to guide the actions of these actors through the detailed definition of concepts, objectives to be achieved and criteria to be taken into account in decision-making. Both aspects together with the guidelines laid down in each journal’s statutes, internal rules and evaluation procedures, form framework for strengthening editorial management. Their purpose is to ensure transparency and compliance with internationally accepted quality parameters.
