    We are delighted to present the first issue of the second volume of Scientia Agricolis Vita, a journal committed to the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge in the fields of agri-food, environmental, educational, and biotechnological sciences. This issue brings together research addressing relevant and high-impact challenges for the academic and productive communities.

    Among the published works, the article titled "Evaluation of Tropical and Subtropical Maize Hybrids in a Transitional Climate" stands out, providing valuable information for the genetic improvement and adaptation of key crops in the face of climate change scenarios. Likewise, the article "The Importance of Physical and Mathematical Tools in the Teaching of Electrical Engineering within the Bachelor's Degree in Food Industries Engineering" highlights the need to strengthen theoretical foundations for comprehensive professional training. Also featured is the study "Evaluation of the Efficiency of Natural Coagulants in the Treatment of Greywater from Domestic Washing," which promotes sustainable alternatives for the management and use of water resources.

    Welcome to the third issue of Scientia Agricolis Vita (SAV) from the UANL School of Agronomy.

    In this issue, we bring together research ranging from food quality analysis to studies on the impact of environmental factors on crops. The authors present advances in rapid and simple techniques for assessing essential properties in plant materials, which promise to optimize research processes in areas such as agricultural physiology and biochemistry.

    We also explore how external conditions can alter the physicochemical characteristics of certain fruits, generating valuable information for improving crop production and management. In addition, we address studies highlighting the importance of safety and quality in traditional food products, a vital aspect of the sustainable development of the agri-food sector.

    Each article on this issue provides new tools, knowledge, and solutions applicable to the field, always advancing toward a more efficient, safe, and aware approach to current challenges in agriculture.

    It is an honor to present the second issue of Scientia Agricolis Vita journal, a publication of the Facultad de Agronomía of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL). This journal has established itself as an academic space dedicated to the dissemination of innovative research and significant developments in the field of agronomic sciences.

    In this second issue, we reaffirm our commitment to scientific excellence and the advancement of knowledge in our discipline. The articles in this issue cover various topics, from studies on crop breeding and sustainable natural resource management to research on new agricultural technologies and their impact on productivity and sustainability.
