About the Journal
Scientia Agricolis Vita is a multidisciplinary open access journal that focuses on publishing original and unpublished scientific research related to agrifood applications, including agricultural, livestock, food, and biosystems sciences. The journal is published quarterly basis in January, May, and September by the Faculty of Agronomy of the Universidad Autónoma of Nuevo León (UANL).
The main objective of Scientia Agricolis Vita is to provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of significant advances in all aspects of agrifood sciences, including food production, agrifood engineering and technology, animal and human nutrition, environmental management and sustainability, among others relevant topics.
The journal accepts submissions in a variety of modalities, including Scientific Articles, Short Communications and Review Articles, and is subject to a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and originality of the papers published.
Scientia Agricolis Vita is open to researchers and scientists from all over the world and aims to be a meeting point for discussion and exchange of ideas among experts in the field of agricultural and food sciences.
Objective and scope
Scientia Agricolis Vita is a scientific publication specializing in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and food and bio systems sciences. Our main objective is to disseminate original and unpublished research in the form of scientific articles, short communications and review articles, written in Spanish and English. We are committed to academic excellence and scientific rigour, so all manuscripts are peer- reviewed by specialists in the field. Scientia Agricolis Vita publishes three issues per year in digital format through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform.

Current Issue

We are delighted to present the first issue of the second volume of Scientia Agricolis Vita, a journal committed to the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge in the fields of agri-food, environmental, educational, and biotechnological sciences. This issue brings together research addressing relevant and high-impact challenges for the academic and productive communities.
Among the published works, the article titled "Evaluation of Tropical and Subtropical Maize Hybrids in a Transitional Climate" stands out, providing valuable information for the genetic improvement and adaptation of key crops in the face of climate change scenarios. Likewise, the article "The Importance of Physical and Mathematical Tools in the Teaching of Electrical Engineering within the Bachelor's Degree in Food Industries Engineering" highlights the need to strengthen theoretical foundations for comprehensive professional training. Also featured is the study "Evaluation of the Efficiency of Natural Coagulants in the Treatment of Greywater from Domestic Washing," which promotes sustainable alternatives for the management and use of water resources.
In addition to these contributions, this edition includes other articles that enrich scientific discussion in the areas of technological innovation, higher education, and environmental management, reaffirming our commitment to academic excellence, social relevance, and the interdisciplinary advancement of knowledge.
